Thankful

Dad had his elliostomy recconnected yesterday and as of tonight, he is doing really well. The poor guy hasn't ate or drank since Sunday night but other than that he looks and acts like he feels great.It has been a long six months for Dad but now he can look forward to a "bag-free" life! We love you Dad!

Besides being very thankful for Dad still being in our lives, today and for the rest of my life, I will be so very thankful for the doctors and the nurses at Madison Memorial Hospital. They were and have been a Godsend for all the care that they have put into Dad. I can never fully explain the gratitude that I have for the kindness they have all shown towards him and my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
