After receiving free ski passes for helping with the ski school, Blaine, Sam & I went to Grand Targhee for the day. Sam & Blaine skiied while I tried to remember how to snowboard. Ouch! For future reference, snowboarding is not like riding a bike!You do forget! The boys went down the hill two times to my one and usually I was the great big snowball rolling down the hill. Watching Sam ski with absolutely no fear was quite scary at times but it was amazing, how just in the few times that he has gone, he has learned so much. He will be a great skiier. Can't wait to do it again next year!

This winter, I had the opportunity to watch Millie while Joet taught ski school. I was so honored that I was asked to watch her and Sam and I looked forward to it every week. Millie is such a sweet natured little girl and it was a great pleasure to have her. Thanks, Joet & Talon!

Earlier this year, Sam made his first snowman by himself. I was so proud of him. For Sam to actually finish a project that takes more than one second, is a huge feat. Unfortunately, soon after taking this photo, the snowman got demolished by a Sammy bulldozer!
