Again and again

So for the next month or so you will continue to see our events in hunting camp. Our whole family's lives revolve around it. We look forward to fall every year and some literally count down the days till then. So if you are sick of hunting camp pictures, you may want to check back in around the 1st of November!

his last weekend, Blaine, Matt, Sheena & I rode into hunting camp on horses. Since I am new to horseback riding and haven't seen all the trails, they took me on the Grove Creek trail. It was absolutely stunning. The leaves are changing colors and canyon walls surround you. It took my breath away.

We had a great time, except the underground hornet nest that Matt & Sheena found. They and their horses got stung but luckily no one was seriously hurt. Blaine called in a love sick coyote that followed us quite a ways in the dark. It was only a few yards from us and you'd think with the dogs and the horses, it would have figured out that we weren't coyotes but love shows no boundaries. Blaine has a girlfriend!!!! One that I am not jealous about either!

Summer brought in a horse that all the kids rode. He is the cutest little thing ever. Roy let the kids lead him around and around all weekend. Kids fell off of him, adults fell off of him and he just kept a truckin'. What an angel.

It was a lot fun this weekend but coming home and having a shower was heaven. Nothing like two and a half days of dirt to make you appreciate running water!
