Saturday, during the carnival, I volunteered to help with the class game. I spent a half hour watching a wheel go around and around and around. Thank goodness it was just a half hour, it seemed like an eternity. Anyway, after the carnival ended I was responsible for cleaning up the classroom and putting things where they belonged. With Sam & Blaine's help, we started putting the desks back where they belong. laine & I would come to a desk and ask where so and so is. Sam would let us know and we would move onto the next. I came to a desk where papers were overflowing and any movement would send papers, pencils and everything else flying.
Me-"What a pig pen! Look at this, Blaine. Some people's children! They should really teach their children the importance of cleanliness! Sam, whose horrible desk is this?"
Sam (with a sheepish look)-"It's------mine. But you were never supposed to see it!"
Crap! That's what I get for judging! My own boy, whose room is never really messy, has a desk that looks like Hurrican Katrina landed in it. BAD PARENTS! I should really teach Sam the importance of cleanliness and also on not judging! I am going to my room now and thinking about what I have done.:(
