OOPS!

Of all the good things that I could have passed down to Sam, he chose to actually have my hatred for Halloween. I was fine with just me hating it but not my little boy, little kids should like dressing up and getting candy.

I tried for a couple of months to get Sam excited about a new costume but no he wanted to be Jack Sparrow AGAIN! Which was great, I didn't do anything. Needless to say, on Thursday night (the night before the school party), there was mass hysteria on my part because I could not find his costume anywhere. I searched and searched. I cried and cried. What a horrible mother! I wait until the very last minute and then I'm suprised I can't find them! Duh! All during that time Sam is patting my back saying, "It's okay, Momma. I didn't want to dress up anyway." WHAT! He has to like Halloween, he has to! Anyway, after one last attempt of looking I found it minus a boot cover.

Friday-We planned on going trick or treating to the family but Sam was against it. "Momma, they have already see this costume. Let's stay home."

Saturday-He was invited to go to the Trunk or Treat with Jen and the kids. "Momma, it's just candy. I want to stay home." Blaine & I convinced him that the carnival would be fun but after 10 minutes he was ready to go.

I'll try next year to get him excited for Halloween because I WILL NOT accept that I have passed my dislike onto him.
