The Chore Bucket

Blaine & I have been struggling to teach Sam the importance of responsibility and how the harder you work, the greater the rewards. So, with my beloved Cricut I created a chore bucket. Since I cannot find a cartridge that has excavation equipment (Dear, Cricut....I would LOVE, LOVE an equipment cartridge)I had to resort to dinosaurs. On each item there is a chore that needs to be done and when a week of chores have been done, Sam gets to pick out a reward from the box. I typed up rewards that do not cost anything but my time and placed them in a cheap little wood box. Sam loves it and actually does his chores. If only I had done this, oh, about 2 years ago!
